The Advanced Garment Vocational Training Program, conducted by the Rajasthan Samagra Kalyan Sansthan recently concluded successfully. This training program was a significant initiative aimed at empowering the underprivileged and needy sections of society, particularly women and young girls, by making them self-reliant. The institute’s objective is to equip participants with practical skills, enabling them to access employment and self-employment opportunities.
During the training, participants received intensive training in modern and advanced techniques related to garment manufacturing. This included advanced sewing methods, fabric identification, pattern making, cutting, finishing, quality control, and knowledge of fashion trends. The training was entirely practical and skill-based, allowing participants to develop an understanding of the real-world requirements of the industry.
Throughout the program, the trainers used simple and effective methods, making the learning process engaging and beneficial. Through the training, participants not only acquired technical proficiency but also learned important life skills such as time management, teamwork, and self-confidence. By the end of the training, participants clearly demonstrated increased confidence in their skills and a positive outlook towards their future.
The main objective of the Advanced Garment Vocational Training Program was to empower participants economically. After completing the training, many participants expressed their desire to start their own tailoring businesses, open boutiques, or find employment in the garment industry. This program has proven instrumental in helping them develop sustainable sources of income.
At the closing ceremony, participants shared their experiences and spoke about how this training had brought about a positive change in their lives. They said that where previously there was a lack of opportunities and self-confidence, they are now ready to move forward based on their skills. The support and guidance provided by the institute served as a source of inspiration for them.
