A New Identity for Transformation through Education: RSKS India Receives the ‘Shiksha Bhushan’ State-Level Bhamashah Award
Education is not merely a means to acquire knowledge; it is the most powerful force for bringing about positive change in society. When a girl receives the opportunity for education, she does not just transform her own future—she paves the way for the progress of her family, community, and future generations. Driven by this conviction, Rajasthan Samagrah Kalyan Sansthan (RSKS India) has been working tirelessly for years to connect underprivileged and needy girls with education, empower them to become self-reliant, and build a bright future for them.
In recognition of these remarkable efforts, RSKS India was honored with the ‘Shiksha Bhushan’ (State-Level Bhamashah Award). This honor was conferred by the Honorable Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister at the 30th State-Level Bhamashah Award ceremony held in Jaipur. This award represents not only an achievement for the organization but also a tribute to the dreams, struggles, and successes of the thousands of girls whose lives have been infused with new hope through education.
Working across more than 150 government schools in Rajasthan, RSKS India has made significant contributions toward connecting over 5,000 underprivileged and economically disadvantaged girls with education, encouraging regular school attendance, and fulfilling their educational needs. The organization has successfully conducted numerous programs focused on increasing school enrollment, reintegrating girls who had dropped out into the education system, raising parental awareness, distributing educational materials, and addressing issues such as life skills education, health and hygiene awareness, leadership development, and child rights.
The organization’s objective goes beyond simply getting children into school; it aims to provide them with quality education, self-confidence, leadership capabilities, and opportunities for a better life. With this vision, RSKS India has fostered a positive environment regarding education through the collaboration of teachers, the community, self-help groups, village-level institutions, and various stakeholders. As a result of these efforts, many girls are now attending school regularly, moving forward to realize their dreams, and becoming sources of inspiration for society. The ‘Shiksha Bhushan’ award stands as a testament to the fact that when society, the government, and social organizations work together, transformative change in the field of education is indeed possible. This honor is dedicated to every staff member, teacher, volunteer, partner organization, donor, and well-wisher who has strengthened RSKS India’s mission at every step. Above all, this award is dedicated to the thousands of girls who, despite challenging circumstances, embraced education and scripted new stories of transformation in their lives.
