The Laado Balika Center—operated by RSKS India, an organization dedicated to the holistic development of girls in Rajasthan—has once again emerged as a hub for innovation and social change. A “Positive Fatherhood Campaign Program” was recently organized here, aimed at strengthening the positive role fathers play in the lives of adolescent girls.

In society, the responsibility for a girl’s development is often perceived as resting solely with mothers or external institutions; however, this program demonstrated that the active participation of fathers is equally vital. During the program, fathers were guided on how to foster their daughters’ self-confidence, support their education, and enhance their decision-making abilities. Special emphasis was placed on core values ​​such as open dialogue, trust, and mutual cooperation.

The program held at the Laado Balika Center featured a variety of activities, including group discussions, sharing of personal experiences, and role-playing exercises. Through these activities, fathers recognized the imperative need to bring about positive shifts in their own behavior and mindset. They also acknowledged that engaging in open and honest dialogue with their daughters strengthens mutual understanding and bonds within the family.

This initiative proved to be profoundly impactful for the adolescent girls. When fathers themselves become sensitive to their daughters’ education, health, and aspirations, it instills in the girls a heightened sense of self-confidence and security. This program is not merely a one-day event, but rather a significant stride taken toward fostering long-term social transformation.

This endeavor by RSKS India conveys a powerful message: if every member of the family—particularly fathers—assumes a positive and constructive role, the realization of gender equality and the empowerment of girls within society can be accelerated significantly.

Ultimately, the “Positive Fatherhood Campaign Program” has proven that change truly begins at home. When fathers transform their mindset, they not only brighten the future of their own daughters but also contribute meaningfully to the overall development of society.
