Dear Reader Namaste!

Many Greetings from RSKS India….

The Rajasthan Samagra Kalyan Sansthan organized a nutrition education program and distribution of nutritious food items for children living in street slums and shantytown areas under its “Nutrition School” initiative. This program proved to be a significant initiative for children who are deprived of balanced nutrition due to economic hardship and lack of resources. The institute aims to improve children’s health and raise awareness about healthy lifestyles.

During the program, children received nutritious food items, including pulses, grains, nutritious mixes, and essential nutrients. Along with the distribution, children were taught, through simple and engaging activities, what a balanced diet is and why it is essential for their physical and mental development. Teachers and volunteers stimulated the children’s curiosity through pictures, games, and interactive discussions, making the learning process easy and effective.

A crucial aspect of the Nutrition School was healthy eating awareness. Children were taught how consuming green vegetables, fruits, pulses, and clean water daily protects them from diseases. The harmful effects of excessive consumption of junk food and the importance of hygiene habits were also discussed. The aim of this awareness campaign was to develop healthy eating habits in children so that they can remain healthy in the long run.

The participation of parents was also ensured in the program. They were given tips on preparing nutritious meals at low cost and the importance of diversifying their children’s diet was discussed. Parents were explained that proper nutrition improves children’s learning, concentration, and energy levels. This dialogue fostered a sense of responsibility and understanding of health within the families.

The Rajasthan Samagra Kalyan Sansthan believes that a healthy child is the foundation of a strong society. Therefore, the organization focuses equally on education, nutrition, and health. Programs like the Nutrition School are not limited to simply providing food to children, but also strive to empower them by providing them with the right information and habits.

At the end of the program, the enthusiasm and smiles on the children’s faces were clearly visible. This initiative is not just a one-day event for them, but a significant step towards a healthier future. The Rajasthan Samagra Kalyan Sansthan will continue to organize such programs with the same commitment in the future, so that children from street slums and shantytown areas can receive equal opportunities for health, education, and a better life.
