RSKS India is continuously making efforts to promote the holistic development of children from underprivileged and marginalized sections of society. In this regard, the organization recently successfully organized a “Discipline and Sanskaar Camp” with children from slum, street, and shanty areas. The primary objective of this camp was to inculcate discipline, morality, respect, cooperation, and positive values in these children, which would serve as a strong foundation for their future personality development.
A large number of children enthusiastically participated in this camp. The program began with prayers and inspirational songs, filling the atmosphere with positive energy. The children were taught the importance of discipline and sanskaar through playful play. Through various activities, the instructors and teachers taught the children that discipline is not merely about following rules, but rather a life habit that makes a person successful, respectful, and responsible.
Several entertaining and educational sessions were held during the program. Activities included dramatic performances, storytelling, and group discussions on topics such as “Importance of Good Conduct,” “Respect for Elders,” “Good Use of Time,” and “Cleanliness and Cooperation.” Children enthusiastically participated in these sessions and shared their thoughts openly. It became clear that when children receive proper guidance and opportunities, they are able to develop their hidden talents.
Group games were also organized during the camp to foster team spirit and cooperation among the children. This fostered mutual affection, understanding, and disciplined working habits. The organization’s instructors also taught the children that success in life is achieved not only through studies, but also through good values, correct behavior, and a disciplined lifestyle.
RSKS India representatives explained that organizing such camps does not limit children to education alone, but rather prepares them to become good citizens. These children, living in slums and on the streets, are often left out of the mainstream of society, but organizations like RSKS India are providing them with love, guidance, and opportunities so they can move forward with confidence in their lives.
At the end of the program, the children were told inspirational stories and were told that good values are a person’s greatest asset. The organization’s team also distributed study materials, notebooks, and candy as encouragement to the children. A glimpse of happiness and confidence was clearly visible on all the children’s faces.
Thus, the “Discipline and Sanskaar Camp” organized by RSKS India not only proved to be an inspiring experience for the children but also brought a positive message to society that only when children receive a combination of values and discipline along with education, is it possible to build a strong and sensitive society.
