Dear Reader Namaste!

Many Greetings from RSKS India…

My name is Nathi Devi, and I live in a small village near Ajmer, Rajasthan. Like many families here, we struggle with basic facilities—whether it’s proper roads, clean water, or access to quality education. We belong to a humble farmer family. My husband and I work hard every day to make ends meet and take care of our three daughters.

Life hasn’t been easy, especially when it comes to the education of our children. Due to financial hardships and lack of awareness, both of my elder daughters had to leave school. Watching them give up their dreams was heartbreaking, but we had no other choice at the time. We were on the verge of making the same decision for our youngest daughter as well. With limited income and the rising costs of education—books, uniforms, school fees—it seemed impossible to continue her studies.

But then, something changed. One day, a team from RSKS India (Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan) visited our village for a survey. They came to understand the problems faced by families like ours and to spread awareness about the importance of education, especially for girls. During the interaction, the team members patiently listened to our story and explained how crucial it was for children—especially girls—to receive an education in today’s world. They shared real-life stories of girls from other villages who overcame poverty through education and became independent and empowered.

Their words touched my heart. For the first time, I felt that someone truly cared about our struggles and wanted to help us. The RSKS team motivated us to let our youngest daughter continue her education and assured us that we would not be alone in this journey. True to their promise, within a few days, my daughter received a complete set of educational materials—a school bag, notebooks, textbooks, stationery items, and other supplies she needed to continue her studies with dignity and enthusiasm.

When she held those new books in her hands, her eyes lit up with joy. That spark in her eyes was something I hadn’t seen in a long time. For the first time, she walked to school not with fear or hesitation, but with confidence and hope. Our whole family felt a wave of happiness seeing her so excited to study.

This small act of kindness and support from RSKS India has made a big difference in our lives. It has given my daughter a chance to dream again, and it has restored our faith in the power of community and compassion.

I now believe that education truly is the most powerful tool for change. It can uplift not just individuals, but entire families and communities. Thanks to RSKS India, we have a new direction, and my daughter has a chance at a brighter future.

To everyone reading this: Never underestimate what a little support and encouragement can do. Sometimes, all it takes is one opportunity to change a life forever.
