Dear Friends Namaste !

My name is Rina, and I am a teacher at a rural school. I have always felt that teaching children about nature and the environment is just as important as teaching them math or science. So, when RSKS India introduced their “Adopt A Tree: Protect Environment & Earth” program, I was eager to be a part of it. The program was an exciting opportunity for both the students and the teachers to come together and learn about the importance of trees and the environment. RSKS India provided our school with 53 fruit-bearing and shady trees, and we were all thrilled to plant them on our school grounds. It was a day of learning and joy as we, along with the children, dug the soil and carefully planted the trees under the guidance of the RSKS team.

The workshop that followed was one of the most engaging and educational experiences we’ve had. The RSKS team taught the students how to care for the trees—how to water them, how to make sure they grow strong, and why trees are so important for the planet. The children were so interested, and their questions showed how much they wanted to understand. It was a powerful moment for all of us, as we realized how much we, as a community, could contribute to making the world a better place.

After the workshop, we organized a public rally in our village to spread the message of tree protection. It was wonderful to see the children, teachers, and even some parents walking through the village, holding banners and chanting slogans about the importance of trees and the environment. The rally was a huge success, and we received great support from the villagers.

Thanks to the “Adopt A Tree” program, our school is now a greener, more vibrant place. The children are not only excited to take care of the trees but are also sharing the message of sustainability and environmental care with their families and friends. The program has had a lasting impact, and I feel proud to be part of a community that values education, nature, and sustainability. I want to thank RSKS India for making this possible and for helping us all realize the importance of trees in our lives.
