Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan (RSKS India) conducted a heartwarming initiative under the “Support to Poor Girl for Her Auspicious Wedding” program to provide essential support to underprivileged girls on the occasion of their marriage. The program began with the RSKS team visiting the girl’s home to conduct a baseline survey. This survey assessed the family’s financial situation and identified the key needs that could be addressed to make her wedding more auspicious and less burdensome for the family.
Before the wedding, the RSKS team returned to the girl’s home with a variety of useful gifts, including different types of utensils, fan, iron, mixer, grinder etc home appliances, blankets, clothes, and other daily essentials. These items were selected carefully to ensure they would help the girl and her family establish a comfortable home after the wedding. The program was not only about material support but also about emotional and community support. Village officials and neighbors were invited to the ceremony to offer their blessings to the girl, reinforcing a sense of solidarity and transparency within the community. This gathering allowed the entire village to witness the assistance provided, ensuring full transparency in the process and demonstrating the program’s intent to uplift families in need.
