My name is Babita, and I am 13 years old. I study in class 8th at a rural school in my village. I have always loved education, and learning is my passion. Doing well in my exams and being able to understand new concepts brings me immense joy.
My dream is to continue my studies and one day achieve great things. However, my family’s financial situation has often posed a challenge to my education. My parents work hard to make ends meet, but there are times when we struggle to afford the school supplies I need. It can be difficult to keep up with my studies when I don’t have the necessary materials like notebooks, pens, and other essentials. Despite these obstacles, my passion for learning has kept me going.
Everything changed for the better when Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan (RSKS India) conducted a baseline survey for their Education For Every Rural Girls Program in our village. During the survey, they learned about my situation and selected me to receive support through their program. I was overjoyed when I heard the news and couldn’t believe my luck. RSKS provided me with all the education materials I needed—new notebooks, bags, pencils, pens, a geometry box, sketch books, and drawing books. It felt like a dream come true. Having these supplies meant I could fully focus on my studies without worrying about not having what I needed. It was a relief for both me and my mother.
The support from RSKS has had a tremendous impact on my education. With the right materials, I can stay organized and prepared for each lesson. It has boosted my confidence in the classroom and allowed me to express my creativity in subjects like art and mathematics. My teachers have also noticed an improvement in my performance, and I feel more motivated than ever to excel. My mother and I are deeply grateful to RSKS for their generosity and commitment to supporting rural girls’ education. Their efforts have made a significant difference in my life and given me the opportunity to pursue my dreams. I know that education is the key to a brighter future, and I am determined to make the most of this chance.
