As part of the “Professional Development and Capacity Building Session (Project Orientation and Team Building)” organized by RSKS India, various life skills games were conducted with rural girls and women. The objective of this program was to familiarize participants with the critical nuances of life skills and to foster confidence, leadership abilities, and a positive mindset among them.

In today’s world, academic knowledge alone is insufficient; possessing life skills is equally essential to effectively navigate the challenges that arise in life. Guided by this philosophy, RSKS India engaged girls and women from rural areas in games and activities designed to help them acquire vital attributes such as communication skills, decision-making abilities, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Throughout the program, participants enthusiastically engaged in various group activities and games. Through these activities, they were taught the importance of mutual cooperation, leadership, time management, and self-confidence. These activities—imparted through the medium of play—proved to be immensely inspiring and enlightening for the women and girls.

Expert trainers explained to the participants that life skills are not merely essential for personal growth but are also vital for playing a more effective role within the family and society. Through these life skills games, participants gained a firsthand understanding of just how crucial patience, sound decision-making, and a positive outlook are when facing difficult circumstances.

Describing the program as highly beneficial to their lives, the rural girls and women remarked that such activities provide them with fresh perspectives and the inspiration to move forward. For many participants, this marked their first experience with such training, which helped them cultivate self-confidence and the ability to express themselves openly.

This initiative by RSKS India represents a significant stride toward the empowerment of women and girls. The organization continues to consistently organize such programs to ensure that women and girls in rural areas have access to opportunities for education, skill development, and self-reliance.

This program served not only as a medium for learning but also proved to be a truly inspiring experience for the participants. In the future, the organization will continue to host such constructive and enriching programs, enabling women and girls to move forward in their lives with confidence and determination.
