Dear Reader Namaste!
Many Greetings from RSKS India….
RSKS India’s inspiring initiative at the Pushkar Fair – a strong step towards preventing child marriage and empowering women. Rajasthan’s famous Pushkar Fair is known for its cultural, social, and religious diversity. On this grand platform, RSKS India (Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan) successfully organized the “Child Marriage Prevention and Eradication Campaign” and the “Stop Violence Against Women in India” program, taking a highly commendable social initiative. The primary objective of this campaign was to eradicate the social evil of child marriage and raise awareness about the rights of women and girls.
A New Wave of Public Awareness Against Child Marriage – This campaign by RSKS India brought a new message of awareness to the crowds at the Pushkar Fair. The organization’s workers and volunteers explained in detail the ill effects of child marriage to the villagers, women, youth, and families present at the fair. They explained that early marriage has a profound impact on the health, education, and future of girls, and is not only a crime under the law but also a social injustice.
This campaign inspired people to educate their daughters, give them the opportunity to think independently and progress. The organization also promoted the message of “promoting girl child education” to weaken the roots of child marriage.
In addition to preventing child marriage, RSKS India also organized the “Stop Violence Against Women in India” program, raising voices against violence, discrimination, and inequality against women. Initiatives such as signature campaigns, selfies, sloganeering, and motivational activities (utgaddi) were used to connect people with the movement and spread a positive message to society.
The program aimed to ensure that everyone, whether male or female, understands that the dignity, safety, and respect of women are prerequisites for social progress.
Attendees took photos with slogan cards such as “Stop Violence Against Women” and “Say No to Child Marriage,” signed them, and pledged to play an active role in preventing child marriage and violence against women in their communities.
Initiative for Social Change – This campaign by RSKS India is not just a one-day event, but a step towards long-term social change. The organization has been working for the rights of women, girls, and youth in rural and marginalized communities for years.
This program, held at the Pushkar Fair, proved that if people work together, traditions like child marriage can be eradicated. This initiative not only raised awareness but also compelled society to recognize that every girl has a fundamental right to education and equal opportunities.
A Ray of Hope – Towards an Educated and Safe India: The youth, women, and families who participated in this awareness campaign praised the organization’s work and said that such efforts can bring about real change in society.
RSKS India conveyed the message that “Social progress will remain incomplete until daughters are safe and educated.”
At the end of the program, the organization’s slogans for women’s empowerment filled the atmosphere with inspiration and awareness.
RSKS India’s campaign, “Prevention of Child Marriage and Empowerment of Women,” is not just an event, but the beginning of a social movement. This voice, emanating from a large platform like the Pushkar Fair, will resonate throughout society, compelling people to recognize that true progress lies in protecting, educating, and respecting every girl child.
This initiative is truly a golden step forward, “from superstition to awareness, and from injustice to equality”—paving the way for a brighter future for generations to come.
