Dear Reader Namaste!

Many Greetings from RSKS India….

India is a land of rich culture and traditions, but some age-old customs have now become obstacles to social progress. One such regressive practice is child marriage, which severely affects the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of young girls, depriving them of their basic rights and a brighter future. To tackle this critical issue, Rajasthan Samagra Kalyan Sansthan (RSKS) has initiated the “Child Marriage Stop Campaign” in schools, aiming to raise awareness and empower girls through education and self-reliance.

Under this campaign, RSKS has organized awareness programs in various schools where girl students are sensitized about the negative impacts of child marriage through interactive workshops, motivational talks, street plays, poster-making competitions, and dialogue sessions. These creative methods not only informed the girls about their rights but also inspired them to take a stand against any form of social injustice. The campaign emphasized that education is their most powerful weapon and that they have the right to shape their own future.

In addition to school activities, parents, guardians, and teachers were also engaged in the program. RSKS believes that social change can only be achieved through collective awareness and cooperation. By involving the families and communities of these girls, the campaign aimed to challenge deep-rooted mindsets and bring about a more progressive outlook toward girls’ education and marriage. The participation of adults showed promising signs of changing attitudes at the grassroots level.

This initiative by Rajasthan Samagra Kalyan Sansthan is a commendable step toward building a society where every girl can live a life of dignity and freedom. The campaign not only empowered the girls but also sparked meaningful conversations among parents and educators. Eradicating child marriage requires more than laws—it demands awareness, education, and a societal shift in thinking. Through such impactful programs, a child marriage-free, educated, and self-reliant India can truly become a reality.
