The “Build Bright Future for Marginalized Girls” project, run by Rajasthan Samagra Kalyan Sansthan (RSKS), is a unique initiative focused on girls from rural backgrounds who are socially, economically, and educationally deprived. The objective of this project is not just to provide skills training but to ignite a sense of confidence, dignity, and self-dependence in the lives of these young women. Recently, a survey of 19 such girls was conducted in a village, who will now be enrolled in a beauty parlor training program. This opportunity will equip them with a practical skill and pave the way towards financial independence.
The beauty parlor training center will be launched soon, where these girls will receive hands-on training in modern beauty techniques such as skincare, hair styling, makeup artistry, customer service, and the basics of entrepreneurship. This center is not just about teaching beauty skills, but about building confident, skilled women ready to step into the world as entrepreneurs. With such training, they will be able to either start their own business or secure employment in the beauty and wellness industry.
At a time when women are making their mark in every field, training rural girls and connecting them with the mainstream is truly a revolutionary step. This initiative is not only creating new opportunities for these girls but also sending a powerful message to society — that every girl, regardless of her background, has the potential to create her own identity if given the right support and platform. A self-reliant girl uplifts not just herself, but her entire family and community.
The success of this campaign has also been made possible through the involvement of villagers, parents, volunteers, and members of the organization. Their combined support shows that when a community works together for the empowerment of daughters, no goal is out of reach. This training initiative is not just about employment — it’s about changing mindsets, building confidence, and reshaping the social structure of rural life, one empowered girl at a time.
