Education is the right of every child, irrespective of their social or economic background. Towards this end, Rajasthan Samagra Kalyan Sansthan took a commendable initiative. The organization organized a 6-day education camp with poor children, which was not only informative but also proved to be enjoyable and inspiring for the children.
The aim of this education camp was to make education accessible to those children who are generally deprived of this right. In the camp, children were given knowledge of primary education, which included alphabets, counting, letter recognition, and the basics of reading and writing.
In addition, children were also narrated and taught poems, stories, and tables. This not only improved their intellectual development, but they also showed enthusiasm in learning new things. These activities promoted self-confidence, collectivism, and creative thinking in the children.
The members of Rajasthan Samagra Kalyan Sansthan worked with full dedication and commitment to make the camp a success. They not only taught, but also interacted with the children, listened to their ideas, and encouraged them.
This 6-day education camp was an effort that proved that with the right guidance and a little support, the foundation of a big social change can be laid. Such camps are not only beneficial for children, but also make the society aware of the importance of education.
The curiosity and eagerness to learn of the children participating in the camp was worth seeing. Initially, some children were hesitant, but the affectionate and inspiring style of the members of the organization and the teachers increased the confidence of the children. Gradually, they started asking questions openly, started repeating poems and started taking interest in stories. The smile on the faces of the children can be called the biggest success of this camp.
Along with education, children were also given the opportunity to participate in entertainment and creative activities. An attempt was made to bring out the hidden talents within them through painting, group songs, children’s drama etc. This camp was not limited to just bookish knowledge, but was a platform to inspire children towards holistic development.
