Rooting for a Brighter Future !!!

Dear Friends Namaste !

RSKS India launched the “Plant Grafted Fruit Trees for Marginalized Families Program” to improve the lives of poor rural families. The goal of the program was to provide these families with a sustainable way to earn money and improve their nutrition by giving them fruit trees. In total, 350 fruit trees were given to 50 families. The trees included lemon, mango, pomegranate, guava, myrobalan, chikoo, and jamun. These trees are not only nutritious but also offer families a way to make money by selling the fruit in the local markets. Along with the trees, 100 kg of organic manure was provided to help the trees grow better. The manure is natural and helps the soil stay healthy, ensuring the trees produce good fruit.

The RSKS team also visited the families to get feedback on the program. During these visits, it was wonderful to see the trees growing well and the families taking good care of them. The “Plant Grafted Fruit Trees for Marginalized Families Program” has had a big positive effect on the families who took part. By receiving fruit trees, the families now have a new source of income. As the trees grow and start producing fruit, the families will be able to sell it, which will help them make money and improve their financial situation.

This program also improved the nutrition of these families. With fruits like mango, guava, and pomegranate, the families can eat healthy, fresh fruit. This is especially important for children, as the fruits provide essential vitamins and nutrients for growth and good health. The use of organic manure has helped the trees grow strong and healthy. This also taught the families how to take care of the soil and trees in an environmentally friendly way, which will help the land remain fertile for years to come. When the RSKS team visited the families, they saw that the trees were thriving, and the families were happy with how the program was going. This shows the success of the program in improving both the financial and health conditions of the families. The program has also encouraged them to take better care of their environment by using sustainable farming methods. Overall, the program has created a brighter and more prosperous future for these families.
