Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan conducted the “Ration Distribution to Needy, Rural and Marginalized Families Program”, aiming to support vulnerable families struggling with food insecurity. Through a detailed door-to-door baseline survey, 10 families were identified as the most in need of immediate assistance. These families were selected based on their economic conditions, lack of access to resources, and overall vulnerability. Under the program, each family received a comprehensive ration kit containing essential food items such as wheat, rice, sugar, salt, coriander powder, chili powder, cooking oil, tea, soybean, and pulses.
These items were carefully chosen to ensure a balanced diet and provide adequate nutrition to the families for a significant period. The distribution was carried out systematically, with the RSKS team ensuring that the process was smooth and respectful. After the distribution, the RSKS team conducted follow-up visits to gather feedback directly from the beneficiaries. These visits allowed the team to evaluate the impact of the assistance provided and understand the additional challenges faced by the families. This feedback will guide future initiatives to make them even more effective.
