Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan (RSKS India) initiated the “Education For Every Girl” program to promote educational opportunities for underprivileged girls in rural areas. To kickstart this initiative, RSKS India team members conducted a comprehensive door-to-door survey involving around 3300 intelligent school girls from approximately 125 different inaccessible rural villages. The aim of the survey was to identify and select girls who are in genuine need of educational support and resources.
During the survey, team members collected data on each girl’s educational background, family income, and specific needs related to schooling materials such as books, stationery, and other essential supplies. This thorough approach allowed the team to assess the educational environment in these villages and understand the barriers that hinder girls from continuing their education. Once the data collection was complete, RSKS analyzed the information to create a targeted list of girls who would benefit the most from educational support. The findings highlighted the significant challenges faced by these girls, including financial constraints and lack of access to necessary educational resources.
The “Education For Every Girl” program is poised to make a profound impact on the lives of the 3300 school girls surveyed, as well as their families and communities. By identifying and selecting girls who are genuinely in need, RSKS India is ensuring that the educational support provided is both meaningful and impactful. The forthcoming distribution of educational stuff supplies will empower these girls to pursue their studies with the necessary tools, significantly enhancing their chances of academic success.
Moreover, this initiative creates a sense of hope and motivation among the girls, as they recognize that their education is valued and supported by RSKS India and their community. Many of these girls come from families facing economic hardships, where education may not be prioritized due to financial constraints.
