Trees are not only important for the environment, they are also important for the human beings, animals, birds etc. Still tree cutting has been seen in many parts of the world due to many reasons and it is leading to many different problems. People could adopt a tree for their livelihood and other purposes but they still choose to cut them and sell them which gives them money for a certain time but then they have to cut down another tree. Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan (RSKS India) is successfully working for the environment conservation from the last 3 decades and has been able to teach and aware people about the benefits of tree and adopting trees.

RSKS India organized Shady & Fruitful Tree Plantation program in more than 5 different rural areas and provided 175 fruitful and shady trees to 25 families. These different fruitful and shady trees were provided to these 25 families so that they could improve their livelihood condition through it and also the fruitful trees would also provide them healthy nutritious fruits to eat. These fruitful trees were around ten feet tall so that they could grow at shorter duration and would soon provide fruits. These people were selected by the baseline survey done at by the RSKS team earlier by going door to door and they were told about how these fruitful trees could support their lives

All of the family members in these 25 families were very happy while getting these fruitful and shady trees and all of them planted the trees in their courtyard and farm so that they could take proper care of the tree and all of them also took oath to always look after the tree. This program not only provided a livelihood way to these rural families but also provided them shade through this program as in the coming times, these trees would protect them from the harsh summer. This is also a small step towards environment conservation and it was only possible due to the valuable support of donors. Everyone who got benefit through this program thanked all the people behind this program from bottom of their heart.
