Gender Based Discrimination not only effects the mind of the young children but it also effects the health of these children. This means treating boys and girls differently just because of their gender and this is because of the conservative thinking of the people. It’s like saying, “Boys can do this, but girls can’t.” This is not good and stops girls from doing things they want. RSKS India saw this was happening a lot in the villages. Girls were not getting the same chances as boys, and this was making the villages unfair for everyone.

To solve this big problem, RSKS India came up with a cool plan called “Humari Awaz” Campaign. RSKS India Team went to 35 different schools in the villages and got around 1800 kids to join them. RSKS India Team organized a signature campaign at all of these schools in which all these children took oath to always fight against the Gender Based Violence. RSKS India Team said, “Boys and girls should be treated the same. No unfair rules!” This is great because these kids are the future leaders. When they grow up, they’ll remember the promise they made and tell others, “Girls can do anything boys can!”.

This awesome plan made a big impact! The kids who participated in this campaign had a clear mind to always fight against gender based discrimination. Everyone could see that these kids were serious about stopping Gender Based Discrimination. The promise they made became a big deal in the villages. The villages became better places for everyone to live, and all because these awesome kids decided to do something important. The Oath they took became a powerful tool to make sure everyone knows that treating boys and girls differently is not okay, and the kids are the ones leading the way to change it.
