My name is Vimla, I am 38 years old, and I live in a small slum. My life has not been easy, and I have faced many challenges. However, I consider myself lucky because I have a beautiful family who loves me unconditionally. As a mother of three children, my biggest concern was their health and well-being. Unfortunately, in our slum, we are vulnerable to various mosquito-borne diseases, such as malaria and dengue fever in the rainy season.

A few months ago, RSKS India visited our slum to distribute mosquito nets and raise awareness about the importance of protecting ourselves from mosquito bites. Initially, I was skeptical about the effectiveness of the mosquito nets. I thought that it would be just another temporary solution that would not make much of a difference. However, I decided to give it a try and took a net for my family. The mosquito nets that RSKS India provided were of excellent quality, and the instructions on how to use them were straightforward. The nets were easy to set up, and I could see that they were designed to keep mosquitoes out.

I was impressed by how durable they were, and I knew that they would last for a long time. The awareness program conducted by RSKS India was eye-opening. I learned that mosquitoes are not just annoying insects; they can also transmit deadly diseases. The RSKS India team taught us how to identify the symptoms of these diseases and how to prevent them. They also explained that using mosquito nets was one of the most effective ways to protect ourselves from these diseases.

Since then, I have been using the mosquito net provided by RSKS India every night. It has become a part of our daily routine. My children are also getting used to sleeping under the net, and they find it comfortable. I feel more relaxed knowing that my family is protected from mosquito bites and the diseases they carry. I am grateful to RSKS India for their efforts in providing mosquito nets and raising awareness about the importance of protecting ourselves from mosquito-borne diseases. They have made a significant impact on our lives, and I am sure that many families in our slum have benefitted from this relief work done by RSKS India. I hope that RSKS India continues to carry out such projects and reaches out to more people in need.
