    Dear Reader Namaste!

    Many Greetings from RSKS India….

The Rajasthan Samagra Kalyan Sansthan organized a special training program on animal husbandry for women’s self-help groups (SHGs) in rural areas. The objective of this program was to empower rural women, develop sustainable sources of income for them, and integrate modern and scientific knowledge with traditional livelihoods. Animal husbandry is a business that can be started with low investment and provides a continuous income, making it an ideal livelihood option for rural women.

During the training, women received detailed information on scientific methods of raising cows, buffaloes, goats, and poultry. Experts explained, in simple language, topics such as breed selection, balanced nutrition, vaccination, hygiene, disease identification and treatment, and the safe marketing of milk and other animal products. Practical guidance was also provided on how to practice low-cost animal husbandry, utilize local resources, and avail of government schemes and subsidies. The training was conducted in a participatory manner, allowing women to share their experiences and get their questions answered immediately.

This initiative by the Rajasthan Samagra Kalyan Sansthan is a significant step towards the economic empowerment of rural women. Animal husbandry is not only a source of income but also enhances nutritional security, family financial stability, and social respect. Women can earn a regular income by selling milk, curd, ghee, eggs, and products from goat farming in the local market. This increases their savings, enables them to spend on their children’s education and health, and empowers them to participate more actively in decision-making.

This training program has also strengthened the spirit of mutual cooperation and collective entrepreneurship among the women’s self-help groups. Group-based animal husbandry reduces risk, and sharing profits builds confidence. The institute is committed to conducting similar training programs, providing follow-up guidance, and facilitating market linkages in the future to ensure that women’s incomes continue to grow and they become self-reliant. Overall, this animal husbandry training is an inspiring effort that brings positive change to the lives of rural women, offers high returns with low investment, and leads them towards self-reliance.

  • Spreading Warmth and Compassion: RSKS India’s Winter Relief Initiative in Rural Areas

Two women sitting on the floor, smiling and wearing colorful traditional clothing, inside a room with peeling walls.

    Dear Reader Namaste!

    Many Greetings from RSKS India….

During the harsh winter months, cold weather becomes a serious challenge for people living in rural areas, especially for those who are poor, helpless, and socially vulnerable. Understanding this reality, RSKS India took a compassionate step by organizing a blanket distribution initiative aimed at protecting the most needy sections of society from the cold. Blankets were distributed to poor families, persons with disabilities, single women, widows, orphans, and elderly people living in rural communities. This initiative reflected not only social responsibility but also deep human sensitivity.

The objective of this program was to ensure that no one is forced to suffer or fall ill due to extreme cold conditions. In many rural areas, people lack proper housing, warm clothing, or sufficient resources to protect themselves during winter nights. Elderly individuals, widows, and persons with disabilities are particularly vulnerable, as they often live alone and depend on limited support. By providing warm blankets, RSKS India aimed to offer them comfort, safety, and dignity during the cold season.

The distribution drive was carried out with careful planning and personal outreach. The RSKS India team visited villages and identified beneficiaries through local coordination, ensuring that the support reached those who needed it the most. Special attention was given to widows, single women, orphans, and elderly individuals who are often neglected or overlooked. As blankets were handed over, the smiles and expressions of relief on the faces of beneficiaries spoke volumes about the impact of this initiative.

Beyond physical warmth, the program carried a strong emotional value. For many recipients, the blanket symbolized care, respect, and the assurance that they are not alone. Elderly people shared their gratitude, saying that such support makes winter nights safer and more bearable. Widows and single women expressed relief and happiness, as the initiative acknowledged their struggles and provided them with timely assistance. For orphans and persons with disabilities, the gesture reinforced a sense of belonging and hope.

RSKS India believes that social service is not limited to large projects alone; even small acts of kindness can create meaningful change. This winter relief initiative demonstrated how simple support, when delivered with empathy, can significantly improve the quality of life for marginalized communities. The organization emphasized that protecting vulnerable people from seasonal hardships is a collective responsibility and an essential step toward building a compassionate society.

Local community members also appreciated RSKS India’s efforts, noting that such initiatives strengthen social harmony and inspire others to come forward and help. The program encouraged a spirit of solidarity, reminding everyone that humanity thrives when people care for one another, especially in times of need.

In conclusion, the blanket distribution initiative by RSKS India was more than just a relief activity—it was an expression of humanity, dignity, and social commitment. By extending warmth to poor, helpless, disabled individuals, single women, widows, orphans, and the elderly, the organization brought comfort and hope to many lives. This thoughtful initiative stands as a powerful example of how compassion-driven actions can protect, uplift, and empower communities during challenging times, paving the way for a more caring and inclusive future.

  • Empowering rural women through organic & livestock training

    Dear Reader Namaste!

    Many Greetings from RSKS India….

The Rajasthan Samagra Kalyan Sansthan successfully organized a training program on organic farming and animal husbandry for women from self-help groups in rural areas. The main objective of this training was to connect rural women with modern and sustainable agricultural practices, strengthen their livelihoods, and make them self-reliant. A large number of women enthusiastically participated in the program and showed keen interest in learning new techniques.

During the training, experts provided the women with detailed information about the importance, preparation methods, and uses of organic fertilizers. The benefits of organic fertilizers were explained, highlighting their advantages over chemical fertilizers, such as increased soil fertility, improved product quality, and environmental protection. The women were practically taught methods for preparing compost and vermicompost from cow dung, agricultural waste, and household organic waste. This provided the women with a way to practice better farming at a lower cost, which can help increase their income.

In the animal husbandry training session, the women received information on animal care, balanced nutrition, hygiene, vaccination, and the identification and prevention of diseases. They were also informed about measures to increase milk production, proper housing for animals, and government schemes related to animal husbandry. The trainers explained that animal husbandry can become a sustainable and reliable source of income for rural women if adopted scientifically.

A key aspect of this training program was that the women were not only given theoretical knowledge but also had ample opportunity to share their experiences and ask questions. Group discussions and interactions boosted the women’s confidence and strengthened their sense of mutual cooperation. Many women said that they would now prepare and use organic fertilizers in their farming and would try to develop animal husbandry as a business.

This initiative by the Rajasthan Samagra Kalyan Sansthan is a significant step towards the social and economic empowerment of rural women. By providing training to women’s self-help groups, the organization has demonstrated that if women are given the right guidance and opportunities, they can not only improve their families’ economic situation but also play a crucial role in the overall development of their villages.

At the end of the program, the women expressed their gratitude to the organization and requested that similar training programs be organized in the future. This training not only served as a means of livelihood enhancement but also instilled a new sense of self-reliance and energy in the women. This initiative by the Rajasthan Samagra Kalyan Sansthan is an inspiring example in the field of rural development and women’s empowerment, laying a strong foundation for positive change in the future.

  • Spreading warmth and joy this winter

    Dear Reader Namaste!

    Many Greetings from RSKS India….

The Rajasthan Samagra Kalyan Sansthan organized a program to distribute tracksuits and sweets to poor and needy children living in slum areas, on the streets, and in shantytowns. This humanitarian initiative aimed to protect the children from the cold during the winter season and bring joy into their lives. For these children living on the margins of society, this program not only provided assistance but also boosted their self-esteem and brought smiles to their faces.

During the program, the institute’s team directly interacted with children in various slum settlements and those living on the streets. Tracksuits were distributed to protect the children from the cold, providing them with warmth and helping them stay healthy. Sweets were also distributed, bringing smiles to the children’s faces. The sparkle in the children’s eyes upon receiving these small gifts was the greatest testament to the program’s success. Many children wore new clothes for the first time, which also boosted their confidence.

The Rajasthan Samagra Kalyan Sansthan believes that every child has the right to a safe, healthy, and dignified life. However, due to economic hardship and social circumstances, children living in slums and shantytowns are often deprived of basic necessities. The winter season makes their lives even more difficult. Understanding this sensitivity, the institute undertook this initiative to protect the children from the harsh weather and to convey the message that society stands with them.

During the program, parents and local residents also appreciated the institute’s efforts. They stated that such initiatives not only fulfill the children’s needs but also strengthen the spirit of cooperation, compassion, and responsibility in society. The children felt that they were not alone and that people in society cared about their future.

This tracksuit and sweets distribution program by the Rajasthan Samagra Kalyan Sansthan is an inspiring example of social service. This initiative demonstrates that even small efforts can bring about significant change. The institute is committed to continuing such programs in the future to provide assistance related to education, health, and protection to poor and underprivileged children.
